I'm sure like me everyone has enjoyed Rogan's story so far. But what now?

Should he retire? He has taken a lot of punches in his last 2 fights against Sexton and he isn't getting any younger?

Or should he stick around for a few more fights as a gatekeeper to the British scene? Maybe to fight up and comers like Fury or maybe a rematch with Harrison for example.

Fury fight is still there for him, but i'd like to see him retire and get some more acting work.

He doesn't seem to have the energy he did a couple of years ago in the ring.

He's got nothing left to prove.

I think he's found his level below British level imo he has guts and determination but really lacks in the boxing skills, he's a limited boxer.

I think being a bench marker for the British scence will play out. I'd love to see how Fury would fair against him, even Chisora too.

After his wins in the last year over Audley and Skelton he has proved he is at a level that is still worth boxing at.

A fight again with Audley and a good test for Fury, if he could gets them wins under him and he would be right back in the mix for the British, by that time Sexton will have it and be looking to move further.

He is still rated higher then all but Haye and Sexton in the domestic scene, so a bounce back could happen and he could get british in the next couple years and retire on a high.

Or maybe he could become a Michael Sprott type fighter. Fighting all over Europe as a test to prospects.

Would you really want to see him do that sort of thing?
At 38 he isn't going to find new reserves of stamina, plus Sprott fights in a more defensive mode , so can keep out of trouble . Rogan can only fight one way, march forward and try and wear the man down.

Rogan had some brilliant wins and caused some upsets but you could tell last night the story is over. I wouldnt want to see him as an opponent for the likes of Fury and Chisora. Ending his career as a journeyman for up and comming fighters would be sad to see. He came late to pro boxing and in a very short space of time, he excited and entertained us but last night we saw it all come to an end. If I were him, I would call it a day and retire with pride for what he has achieved.

Now that Fury has had a 10 rounder he qualities for the Irish title - so long as his ould fella can come up with that elusive birth cert.

My Grandma once rented a "Riverdance" DVD, I think that is enough to qualify me to fight for the Irish title!

I reckon after a long rest he may feel he can still cut it at British level and will take a comeback fight, then see how that goes before considering retirement. Promoters may still want him - after all, the guys sells tickets.

Hes probably a bit better than you make out - he has after all beaten Fraudley and Skelton - but at this staghe of his life he will always get beaten by a guy with an average chin plus workrate and stamina. He might do okay against someone like Chisora, who lumbers a bit though should still win on points, but a Fury or Price would exhaust him and overwhelm him in five.

Dont think he should retire just yet, Fury vs Rogan would be ideal for both fighters.....it would surprise a lot of people what Rogan could pull outta the bag (if the went back to Breens gym)
