Not sure I know that nickname.
Is it Claude Rains? The invisible man? Man has a good defense for sure.

Lewis cuts Marciano to ribbons and wins by later rounds TKO.

Now why doesn't that surprise me?

Well I just never picked up on that about Lewis.....how stupid of me. However I do now dimly remember.....I don't see how it fits. Anyway I'd go with Lewis on this one.
Will I ever get over my embarrassment? Only if Collins issues me clemency.
I do like the nick name. But it should be taken from Lewis and handed to Whitaker.

I don't suppose you know the background to Pernell's nickname either do you, Buzz?
(And if it all gets a bit too much for you, don't worry, I won't think any less of you if you have to call out for your mono-sylabic mate AntonS. I mean, really, how could I think any less of a gutless wonder like you, Buzz?)

lewis was a skilled fighter who would be 7 inches taller and 60 lbs heavier than rocky. i love rocky but this would be a massacre.

Hey Collins Sweet "P" The sweet science of Pugilistic Perfection. (Do I get my junior understudy creditation back?)
FYI This gutless wonder drinks much beer and remains "gutless".....now that takes dedication and focus.
You? Well you should just pipe down before I send Irene over to settle your hash. You could use some cooking lessons I'm sure.
Speaking of feminine charm, Though you are obviously very much in touch with your feminine side,( the side that supposedly is correctly intuitive) you never seem to really listen to what it is saying. And that's not at all bad, my wife says I never listen to her either.
FYI I have NEVER been guilty of a single accusation in terms of actions you have imagined I have taken. I take (or fail to take) action on my own. Others who have (or have not) taken such action have done so on their own.

Depends which Lewis are we talking about here? The Lewis who kept Tua at bay? The Lewis who undertrained for Klitschko, Rahman and McCall? What years are we judging Lewis by? I figure if Tyson could rock Lewis in the 1st round and he wasnt much taller than Marciano, its not out of the question Marciano could spark Lewis.

Lewis would have blugeoned Rocky even through his guard, too big, too strong.
Marciano's determination would have seen him rise from three unclean knockdowns but, the ref would wave it all off.
Lewis wins by TKO.

Well it's certainly more fitting than "The Lion"

refering to yourself as "a" pugilist specialist does not equate with you using "the pugilist specialist" as a boxing nom de plume. the whole notion of anyone - let alone the pretty intelligent lennox - using this stupid moniker is ridiculous.
(even more daft than pitting these two men against each other and hoping for a marciano win)

I would say that Lewis has a significant advantage due to his height and his reach...
Lewis would win on points due to his upright jabbing...
But I do not think it would last 12/15 rounds...
If Hasim Rahman can beat Lewis, then I'm sure as hell thast Marciano can.
Marciano round 8.
