What on earth has Audley done to deserve a title shot.

Haye would spark him out anyway.

One of the most powerful punchers in the heavy divison v someone who would crap his pants if ian napa threw a right hook at him? Not really a fair match up.

Harrison has to look at taking on the winner of Fury-Mcdermott or the winner of Sexton-Williams and win convincingly to have any hope of fighting on.

i think there is a good chance it could happen after Ruiz if haye cant get a Klit fight..... cause it would sell

Haye KO 2 if it did come off

I think there is shite-all chance of this happening. What has Haye got to gain from fighting someone with as poor a reputation as Audey?

If he somehow managed to lose it would be career ending virtually. The only man to gain would be Harrison.

Pointless fight.

x2

He was fornicating petrified of taking a shot from Sprott and co (quite rightly as it turned out!) so what would Haye do to him?

Pre-fight it would be like Tyson v Bruno 2.

I cant remember the last time 2 brits fought against each other for the "world title". For this reason, added to the fact that the general public know nothing about boxing due to poor coverage, there would be genuine interest.

All the marketing would be: World champion vs Former olympic gold medalist, both british. I think there would be money in it.

Plus whatever happens, we still have a british world champ!
what ever happens?? there is only 1 outcome to haye vs fraudley haye by ko in the first minute

Why would Haye fight Audley he would gain nothing from beating Audley, if it was made Haye would demolish him within 5 rounds imo

Totally agree.
The British public would buy big into this match-up.

Lets be honest - outside of the Klitschko brothers - what big money earner fights are out there for haye?

You can't put the two in the same sentence - let alone the same ring! - Haye would destroy fraudley. David would prepare hard and have a good game plan with a 'B' plan just in case. fraudley would turn up and try to bore and hold all night. It would end in a KO within 3 rounds - Haye looking good and fraudley battered.

I can see the reason behind fraudley trying to call out Haye. He knows he'll never be Heavyweight champ but he can make a shed load of wonga getting his batty pulled through his mouth in front of millions :DD :bag:

Why do people make such a big fekkin deal about Audley not winning a British belt - he knocked out Danny Williams who was ex-British top dog for five years & world title challenger, and won the British belt in his very next fight.

Thats a top result, stop pretending he hasn't even achieved at Brit-level, at least knock him for something genuine.

Good point.
Frank Bruno never fought for the British title either.

Thirded. I think it would kind of be in the Bruno-Bugner mould, a bit of a circus but it would put bums on seats both in a stadium and via PPV.

I'd make this fight if I were Haye's team, I think even hardcore fight fans would forgive him this one gimmie, hell even I would pay to watch him spark out Harrison.

I'd pay to see if Harrisons uppercut could throw a spanner in the works of world boxing.

Because of David's still questionable chin - and let's face it, due to the Mock fight alone it always will be questionable - you can't 100% rule that out.

Which I guess is part of the attraction with Haye, he is very vulnerable, no invincible aura around the Hayemaker for sure and he even played up to it in the Valuev build up.

Haye would destory Fraudley...

He'd be lucky to last 5 rounds against the silky skills and explosive power of The HAYEMAKER!!!! :bag:

I think this would be a huge fight in Britain if it were to happen and I guarantee it would at the very least sell out the O2 Arena.

This is not because the fight would be competative (as I think Haye would win it by KO in the first 3 rounds in similar fashion to the way he beat Maccarinelli) but because both fighters are British and now well known. Despite all of Harrison's faults (and there are many) he is well known by the British public because of his Olympic gold medal winning performances; knows how to hype up a fight (imagine the press conferences with the chat of Haye and Harrison) and he is a pantomime villian who many people would love to see knocked out. This all adds up to a huge sell. This coupled with the doubts that remain over Haye's chin make the fight a viable one especially if Haye cannot make the fight with Klitschko by the middle of next year.

LOL at Haye if this were to happen. "I'll fight the best!"

I doubt Haye would take this fight and if he did he would lose all credibility. The Klitschko's and Valuev haven't even defended their titles against such a poor challenger. Remember Haye was supposed to be different, he was supposed to be the fresh breath of air to the division. Fighting an old never has been, glass chinned domestic fighter is nothing amazing, it's quite pathetic. That's why the fight won't happen if Haye is legit.
