thought hatton did enough personally, and thought he would get a decision seeing it was a hatton promotion in Manchester.

Draw!?! I think this result more than any other should make Ndou have a think about what he does next...

i posted this elsewhere. I reckon he should look for a payday or two with the belt and get out intact.

I liken Matt Hatton to a small Bob Mirovic...

Sounds like the best option at this stage. Where would the payday come from though? Berto? Torres? Or maybe Mundine will fight him now!?!

I posted my reply to this fight in another topic on this forum.
I think the decision was fair. Busy, but not effective against rarely active and a little effective...

Yep, after watching the Phillip Ndou fight i expected a lot more from Lovemore given the limited opponent, but to Matts credit he gave a good showing...not one of Lovemores more memorable showings. I got up at 6am to watch it so I am glad the undercard had a few highlights !!!

I had N'Dou winning 115-113 but Hatton was totally disrespectful in the interview he came across terribly

He was bagging hopoate a few years ago, hopoate isn't that good but he is better than 90% of the guys in the australian hw division, so he certainly isn't a disgrace to aussie boxing, like him or hate him he entertains, his fight with wilson was brilliant, he showed some incredible punching power in that fight

I was looking at the top 10 aussie heavyweight list, are strength is certainly increasing, some of these guys could make some noise on the world scene

it was a genuine close fight and the scorecards werent a surprise. I didnt score it but I thought it would have been a draw, shame for Hatton though because he showed he's a much improved fighter and is better than N'Dou at this moment in time, but as he said himself no point in going to N'Dou's own backyard.

I think Matty should fight the winner of Brook v Jennings for the British welterweight belt or maybe look at going up through the ranks of the major bodies.

Eric T is a goose, not just this post but most of his.

perhaps if you read my posts you will see that I was not impressed with the result either.

So maybe you can stfu as well.

OK, fair enough, looked back and did see you weren't happy the result. Agree with you, Ndou needs to think about where his career stands now. This has to be considered a big upset. Without his famous surname, M Hatton would be a regional trier at best. Even with it, he's not much more than that. His best win being over a very, very shot Ben Tackie, and it being considered an upset despite Tackie entering the fight on a four-bout losing streak, shows as much.

Yeah, would be curious to know who these guys are that are going to make noise...

The only one who MIGHT is Meehan, and he's already 39.
