Englands no1 Amateur Middleweight and 2009 ABA Champion Hosea Burton today beat the highly touted American Luis Arias with a score of 10 -6 . What a way to end a great year , Arias has had offers from leading american promoters to turn pro incl Golden boy who tip him as a future World Champion.
Hopefully this will eventually lead to putting Hosea on the GB team and give him some funding as he currently is not on any .
What more does Hosea have to do , he so wants to represent his country at commonwealth games then the Olympics.

Last I heard Hosea was turning pro - presumably this result will now bolster his chances of a place on the GB podium squad?

Didnt he lose his last meeting with Kirk Garvey?
