What do you expect?

Enzo is probably still recovering from that haymaker Scott landed on him in his last fight. His chin is pretty bad IMO.
Put him in with a puncher, and Enzo gets KO'd in double quick time. Put him in with a smart boxer with defence and Enzo will get KO'd late and made to look ponderous. Put him in with a 'bum' and Enzo has a chance to make some money and pay back his home fans. Simple really.

The guy has a big heart and great power, but he's a fragile fighter who will be exposed as he steps up. Shame really as he is a nice guy.

I like Enzo, I met him at Cardiff Castle last year and he's a real character. But like everyone says, that chin looks made of finest crystal, and warren will be taking NO chances for awhile yet - could be Carlos De Leon next...

Agree with all said so far guys, Enzo is limited, has heart and a fragile chin, remind you of anyone? He's in good hands with allegedly mind, Frank can make limited guys a lot of money and fighting in Wales against no hopers is the way to go for now. The fight with Haye will not happen for promotions reasons as good as anything. When Enzo steps up he will have made enough cash and will possibly get smashed into oblivion by a decent guy, Farnell anyone?

I don't know if anyone saw Enzo vs Swaby it was shown live (or maybe an hour later) on BBC WALES.

Well Colin Jones, who I find an excellent summeriser (take not BBC) was doing the Jim Watt/Glenn McCory role.

Well he is often critical of fighter (constructive criticism - he is first class), but he was obviously a fan of Enzo.

He really couldn't shut up during Enzo's fight, hyping him up like he was Ali. "This kid's got it all" "very athletic" "tremendous power". Then bang - the silence was deafining.

"He should tuck that chin in" was pretty much his first words.

It doesn't look too good for Enzo in the long run does it. Far too upright and mechanical if you ask me but coming back from the knockdown against Scott should improve his confidence so we'll have to wait and see. At lease he now knows that he can get up from being knocked down and come back to win.

Plus, he's only young and has to be matched carefully, which shouldn't be too difficult seeing the calibre of challenger he's being served up for starters.

Enzo will be a decent ticket seller so expect a "title reign" similar to that of Oakey Kokey.

It's a shame Enzo doesn't have Oakeys chin to go with that punch, he could probably go a fair bit further if he did. Although as it is I'm sure that tight left hook (which was truly devastating against Scott) can account for one or two good names before he gets toppled himself.

I see on Ringside this morning that light-heavyweight Oakey victim Andrei Kiarsten will now be the opponent.

Slight improvement perhaps?

Possibly Mr K. Is Kiarsten really a cruiser though? Enzo is a big cruiser. You know it's funny how we all expect Maccranelli to be fed easy foes now. Considering Enzo was blasted by Swaby he was chucked in pretty deep against Bruce Scott! The right match at the right time.

If Enzo can make a couple of defences and Johnny Nelson is still WBO champion - 2 big IF's there perhaps - then I expect to see Maccranelli V Nelson next year.

Can't see Johnny in the game for another 12 months.

Indeed, with all that he's been going through, and his recent performance I can't see him holding on to the title in his next fight. Hope I'm wrong mind.

Kiarsten, as Lightsoot mentioned, is a blown up light-heavy. He weighed 12st 9lbs for a fight earlier this year against the Pole, Tomasz Adamek. Still, he's gotta be better than McKenzie.

I envision quite a few undercard bouts getting shown that night as the top of the bill, Tak and Enzo don't look like they'll be going into the later rounds do they?

I mean, luv Tak to bits but they could have got him someone from the OJay line of journeymen couldn't they. Or even the guy who got blasted by Eastman (but beat Thirlwall). I mean, Borovski has lost to a guy who lost to David Barnes!!!

Kiarsten, wasn't he that guy who had a barnstormer with Oakey a while back? Is he really a Cruiserweight? Hmm at least it's a more familiar name but the outcome may be the same albeit several rounds later.

I believe former ABA featherweight champion Kevin Mitchell goes for his second pro win on the bill against a Hungarian and Ross Minter meets John "Boy" Marshall.

(Sorry, Mitchell and Minter are fighting on the Dagenham bill topped by Matt Skelton against Mike Holden for the inaugural English heavyweight title on Thursday, September 18).

That was indeed a great fight and the mighty Glenn McCrory master of the obvious statement named it his fight of the year.

the trouble with the cruise weight division there is a very fine line between crap and good,

enzo will not be fighting anyone good for quiet a few more fights, i cant see a nelson fight in the future and enzo will be on the wbo path which he should stay away from,

Without being disrespectful to Enzo, if Enzo does go through the WBO route and is sucessful then he has over-achieved. I can't see him capturing a more meaningful belt.

I honestly believe that the WBO belt is there for the taking, Hobson, Macrinelli, and the rest have the best chance ever of capturing a meaningful(ish) world title.

Without meaning and disrespect but on his recent showings how much better is Nelson compared to the fighters between the top 15-20 in the World.

If Macrinelli fought him now and got beat, then he's can always come back (use the old "it came to soon" line - which is true). He's already lost his 0, so I think its a no-lose situation for Enzo right now.
