Come on now guys, do we really believe this fight is going to happen! Mayweather is going to ask for a huge slice of the purse, knowing that Manny aint gonna give him it, and once the fight falls through he is going to say " I offered him the fight but he turned it down", or someshit like that. If Floyd really wants the fight he will take a 50-50 split, or slightly less since Manny is THE ,man at the minute. So come on Floyd, man up or shut the fuckup

Well Manny has beaten better fighters, more recently, with more excitement, has a bigger legion of fans (the whole of the philippines are mad for him, I was there for the hatton fight and some of the busiest streets in the world were deserted during the fight), sells more PPVs and has not just come out of retirement . . . seems like a strong argument for a bigger share than boring boring mayweather

I dont even know what you mean buy that, the Manny Cotto fight dwarfed Mayweather Marquez in term of buys.

Besides I think PacMan could beat Mayweather, the new Pacman is never in trouble, not like Mayweather against DLH or Judah.

I read that the Manny fight outsold the Marquez fight by a large margin, oh well, maybe I am going senile

If this fight doesn't happen, Mayweather will have to live with the shame of it for the rest of his life. He is aware that people are questioning his legacy. If he fails to rise this challenge, those questions will only get louder. Pacman has already overachieved, so his legacy is more secure.

If Mayweather doesn't fight him it'll follow him around like a bad smell for the rest of his life.

I honestly don't think that Mayweather is afraid of anyone in the ring.

If this fight doesn't happen, it will be down to stubborness over money - not because he's afraid to fight him.

Got to agree with that. These guys have great self-belief and most will fight a Polar Bear if the money is right.
