How about this fight, Goodnight Irene? Does DLH has a chance?

Not at Jr lightweight. But the more weight you put on these guys the more it favors DLH. Pick em at lightweight and from that weight up it's DLH.

You miss the whole point, which is to slant as much as possible in the favour of De La Hoya's opponent

How would he do vs Sanchez at Jr lightweight? I think you come up with not so good for DLH again. I like DLH a great fighter! But at those weights I don't think he gets traction against those two fighters.
I'd love to see Arguello and DLH at lightweight. That would be quite a show....

De La Hoya & Arguello would be interesting at Lightweight. It was, in truth, neither man's best division --- for De La Hoya, slightly too low, & Arguello, slightly too high. In that case, I think I'd lean toward Arguello's experience, as De La Hoya, as devastating as he was at Lightweight, was fairly green, & lacked poise. Any higher in weight, & it's going to get ugly for Arguello, though. De La Hoya wins handsomely at either Jr. Welter or Welterweight.

Not much. He was too fragile and inexperienced at this weight.
