Im hearing lots and lots of stories Hatton and JMM are to fight in 2010, has this been confirmed yet ?

don't think its been confirmed but richard schaefer said both fighters want the fight

If this happens, its a great comeback fight for Hatton. Marquez is a very winnable fight but is still a great and more importantly for Ricky, marketable name. His last 6 fights read Marco antonio Barrerra W, Rocky Juarez W, Pacman L, Joel Casamayor W, Juan Diaz W, Mayweather L. Thats an impressive run of opponents, nobody can say he ducks anyone!

It sounds like this has a good chance of happening. Marquez KO, imo.

I'm pretty sure this will happen now, the talk started about two weeks ago I think and Golden Boy have said they are in early talks now.

Would be a great show for Hatton Promotions if it was in Manchester and very interesting fight coz Marquez is coming off an absolute thrashing from Floyd.

But one thing I can say I bet Marquez is in pretty good shape at this moment and Hatton looked really fat on FFN last week.

Think this may well be a joint promotion - perhaps Hatton promotions can use this as springboard into the big time.

that is a debate thats been talked about a lot with my mates etc , and i was at first surpised to hear that despite them being casual hatton fans many dont think hes got it any more to face kahn and therfor for that reason would never happen , i know these guys are hardly the boxing world experts but generally casual fans back the big names etc , i personally believe hatton would be stopped by kahn but was just surprised to hear them agree , i was expecting them to say hatton would smash amir

If Marquez beats Hatton then a Marquez vs Khan fight should definitely be on the cards.

so many people on here say hatton is finished because he was beat by pacquaio and mayweather??? , my f.ucking god , manny and floyd are 2 all time greats , its no shame at all that hatton has came up short against them.

how long can marquez go on for?? , he was soundly beaten by mayweather (again no disgrace) but at his age and amount of wars how much has he got left?

hatton will have a bit of ring rust , marquez wont , that works in marquezs favour.

hatton is stronger and can match marquez for hand and foot speed , also he is the bigger puncher.

its a 50-50 fight because nobody knows what both guys have left.

what weight its at will also be a factor , if hatton is smart he makes the fight between 143-145.

if i had to bet my house on it id take hatton on points especially if its in the uk
