Kessler vs Ward in doubt

Things are not in order.

Thats the clear message from Mikkel Kesslers german promotor, Wilfried Sauerland before saturdays Super Six, and world championship fight, against californian Andre Ward.

It's the California Athletic State Commision that has appointed the judges and referee, and they have chosen 2 californian judges, and on top of that a californian referee, a furious Sauerland tells ekstrabladet.dk

- Obviously we will make a complaint to the WBA. The consequence can be that mikkel wont fight saturday. Because the WBA rules regarding the impartialness of judges are quite clear, the german boxing "legend" said.

The situation might run hot, around noon when the pressconference is held with all involved parties at Oakland city hall. That is 21 danish time - ekstrabladet.dk will be there.

California pulled the same thing over Witter v Alexander. Typical myopic Yanks.

Why, the foolish myopic yanks! The temerity of them, appointing officials based on competence instead of nationality!

this should all have been sorted when the 5 Promoters met before any fight was scheduled and not a few days before the fight! I still fancy Ward to outbox Kessler, hometown judges or not.

i was going to say exactly the same when i saw the opening post they did exactly the same thing for witter v alexander and there was loads of talk that fight wouldnt go ahead.

it will go ahead and unlike the other guy I expect kessler to get the win over ward.
