What's the point, Jones already beat Hopkins about 16 years ago. A fight today would only help determine which one is more past it

If RJJ gets past Greeny he'll fightr BHop. I havent heard anything about the winner of Green v Jones getting a crack at BHop. Green would have to devastate Jones with a big KO victory for a Green v BHop fight to generate enough money in the USA for BHop to be interested......unless of course Green Machine Promotions can offer BHop enough money and get him down under as they have with RJJ. I suppose we will have to wait and see what Greeny does with RJJ first.

Versus will show both both fights beamed into America, it is under the impression that Roy Jones Jr will defeat Green and Bernard Hopkins will defeat Ornales. If Green defeats Roy Jones a new contract would need to be negotiated between Golden Boy and green promotions and HBO would need to agree to the fight which would be a big question mark.

What if Jones and Hopkins both lose? Both of them are getting old.

Clearly it's all set up for Jones-Hopkins 2. If there was to be a double upset, Green-Ornelas is about as likely as Sturm-Brown would have been if there had been a double upset in the Hopkins-ODLH warm-up show.

Ornelas has improved since Sam Soliman beat him.

I think it'll be a 12 round decision victory for Hopkins.

Probably, but anything can happen in a boxing ring.

In Thailand I suppose that would be a possibility. Would you want it with chili?

If there were two upsets it wouldnt impact too much on a Bhop v Jones Jnr rematch. It would still be a big match up based on who they are. I think if one was to lose in a big way and the other won, then it may diminish a bit. Was interesting to hear Bhops remarks on "Nothing else matters" directed at Green. I think they are warranted comments when you sit on top of the world as Bhop does, and especially when he will be cheering for RJJ........
