Who would you have him fight to build on the success of the Prizefighter win.

I was thinking about this the other day when rewatching prizefighter on Gomez's sight - I know I'm sad - Harrison looked okay and could probably make something of his carrer at leaset a european title.. So if you were advising him who would you put him in against for his next three fights.

If it was me I'd go for Skelton - comming off two losses but respected in europe and a step up from prizefighter opponents.
Rogan - he needs to avenge that loss and in truth is a better fighter
Virchis - if he can get that fight then it would be a good european title eliminator

Thoughts...

Can we please not have why everyone hates Audley... I know why everyone hates Audley and by saying it again you're not adding anything new to the discussion.

Rogan will be out for several months with his injury and I thought Skelton had retired? Not sure about Virchis....

Aggree with Fury McDermott and Sexton, not so sure about Williams because he's so badly dammaged goods now - more so I think than Skelton who lost at a high level.

McDermott I think would be okay, McDermott's chin isn't his best strength.

But really, he was pretty bad in the prizefighter. Apparently Frans Botha looked pretty terrible last time - that wouldn't be a bad move.

But it would really have to be a small fighter, with not an iron chin, and no power. Audley just hasn't got it.

I'd keep matching him easy, he will still be an undercard attraction, and sooner or later you will cash in when a world champ will offer him a volontary shot.

Audley is down to be a voluntary defence for the Sosnowski vs Vidoz winner, and was meant to appear on that bill but that now looks like he might not appear on the bill.

I personally would have put him in with Dennis Bakhtov on the same bill, pretty high ranking in Europe and I think the WBC rate him ok too. That reward for relatively little risk in my opinion, Bakhtov has little power and is easy to hit.

id put him in with sam sexton as much as i dont like audley i think it would be a easy nights work

Yep, the Sosnowski-Vidoz winner for me, too. He could beat either of them and the EBU title brings with it a WBA ranking.

Realistically or not, he's still talking of world titles rather than domestic, and the above scenario looks a bigger opportunity than any domestic fights, even if they're for titles. Williams 3 would be a lose-lose situation, as anything less than a crushing win will look bad, and a crushing win would just be seen as confirmation of Williams' decline.

What about Warmachine? That would be an interesting match up at this stage.

Briggs? He hasn't fought in over two years, and has no fights scheduled.

Briggs was supposed to tfight the other week, but I think he got injured.

Tye Fields is a good call.

I wouldn't mess about, I'd go straight after Haye get a big payout take my 25% and then drop him back on the scrapheap.

He would need to sign with Don King to get a shot at the WBA!

Thing is he is so vulnerable that i'd not put him in with any journeyman level fighters as he'd maybe lose.

I'd just keep using the press to hype a Haye fight or Rogan upon his return.

He's shot to shit and a former champ. Beat him and a Haye fight is very feasible.

you are all missing the point...if you were managing him you shoud be going for more exciting fights against winnable opps.

Audley did himself no favours taking on , say, dominick quinn , that was bound to be a snore fest

ditto any fight with sosnowski or vidoz..they are too boring as well. looking at audley's style and history its obvious that light punching shorter guys who come forward are needed.

i wouldnt even object to a rematch with Michael sprott ...remember sprotty was down in the first...its a winnable fight if auds picks his punches well uses his uppercuts with speed AND DSNT LEAVE HIS CHIN OUT !

and maybe even go for the tall but hollow boned Kali Meehan .....heres three winnable fights and Audleys firmly in place for a world title shot

Anyone who thinks Audley is going to be a World champion is as deluded as the man himself. I would tell the prick to lower his sights and try to get the European Title if he can. Thats realistic because he still hasnt proved himself at domestic level yet. He needs to prove himself against Chisora, Sexton and Fury and if he cant do that what chance would he have against Haye never mind the Klits. On the British scene alone he will have his work cut out. Another option is to have him fight no hopers to make a living.

its a bit of an insult to Sexton and Chisora to include Tyson Fury

fury is no where near the same level as these two
