I know that Jesse Ferguson beat Buster Douglas in the finals, but who else was in the tournament?

I'd never heard of it.
Looking at the records here, it was supposedly the "ESPN Eastern Heavyweight Tournament".
It seems Ferguson beat someone called "Richard Scott" in one of the semi-finals.
And Douglas beat someone called "Dion Simpson" in the other one.
And Scott and Simpson then fought, maybe for the Bronze.
I wonder if there was a "Westen" tournament...

I watched Tyson-Fergusson yesterday, and Tyson faced Jesse
instead of Carl Williams, because Jesse was the ESPN tourny
champ.
So there must have been a championship.

Don't remember anything about the Heavies. I recall Frank Fletcher at Middle & Dwight Braxton at Light Heavy. The rest have been expunged from my ancient mind.
