I can't recall anyone else ever taking a shot as hard as he did in the first against Durelle and getting up to win the fight. I dunno how far past 40 years old he was but I'd say what he did in that fight was amazing for any age. I wonder what fighters today could you guys see doing something like that.

Archie Moore, my favorite fighter of all time. Born to fight he was, like no one I have ever seen. There is no one today at 40 that does what Archie did. Hopkins is a safety fighter, he don't get knocked down or knock people out.

Hopkins-Moore would be a good fight, imo, at a catchweight of 180.

Moore would destroy him. Hopkins aint big enuff to toy wiv Archie. Look how small Hopkins waist is.. I don't even think his chin could stand up for 12 let alone 15 rounds. Archie is strong as fornicate at 180 and Hopkins is small at 180. And also he don't have the speed to keep him away. And Archie can match his skills.

At 175 I don't think Hopkins can beat Moore. Don't get me wrong, he's certainly good enough to give Archie a good go of it particularly in the early rounds, but I think Archie's strength and aggression would ultimately win the day, possibly by decision, maybe late KO.
