As promised Jameson Bostic is stepping it up against Poland national Matt "Master" Masternak 15-0-0 for the WBC Youth Cruiserweight Title. The bout will take place in Radom, Poland December 19th.

Win or loose Bostic will be back in NZ March 2010 fighting at Light-Heavyweight

Isnt he abit to told to be fighting for a youth title?

25 is the cut off for the WBC im told. Will be a good fight and a good step up for Bostic

Jameson has been doing well lately, hope he wins the title and keeps the momentum

Thanks Soundkamp, we hope so to! Is a risk fighting in Poland, but its a calculated risk, and if hes going to move to the next level hes gotta beat guys like Masternak

This will be a good fight regardless the belt, prize or whatever. Good technical bout. It's best Mr Bostic try and leave the judges out of it and get a stoppage.

Speaking of youth titles, maybe Jeff Fenech and Azouma Nelson should fight for one!

Have never wanted to build a record on stiffs, once we got a few fights under the belt and shoke the ring rust we always looking to step it up and this fight should be as you say a food technical battle, with a bit of luck (and skill) Im hoping for a late stoppage!............in fact im hoping for a WIN however it comes!

It was a very tough fight for Jameson...He is a true LHW, not a CW and should train hard to stay at 175. taking the fight on short notice didnt help either. I am a very big fan of Jamie Kang, but the cpl fights i saw him at was at 168..not at 200. Let him get down in weight and he can bang and fight with anyone. Wish him the best of luck in future bouts

Yes it was always a tough fight on the short notice and it being at Cruiser. You'll see Bostic move down to light-heavy next year his preferred weight, and hopefully the results will resemble that
