These two are actually pretty decent what I have seen. Worst fighters than them are in various top tens. Well, think they would both smash Salita.

Having Hatton at #8 is pretty poor also.

no sign of Tim Bradley on that list either who I think is the best light welter out there apart from Pacman.

Alvarado's an unbeaten Yank, shiny record, few good wins over some gatekeepers but I get the feeling he's very protected.

Cayo though, is more than handy. He's from the Dominican Republic -- I think, somewhere like that anyway -- & has beat up a few tough Mexicans (Arturo Morua, former lightweight champ Julio Diaz), fights with his hands down & switch hits a bit like Herol Graham. Very good mover, can obviously bang a bit & is tall for the weight.

Alvarado I have my doubts about but Cayo -- as Stu said -- would stand Salita on his head.

Nah, the gatekeepers that Alvarado's beaten have at least been people I've heard of. Alvarado's beaten up a couple of former world title challengers; Salita's beaten up a couple of ex-bog cleaners from Tijuana.

Who's the soft touch in those names then? the one we can fully expect to be imported to Bolton once Salita falls down?

Would McCloskey not be worthy of a place in the top 10 after winning the EBU strap? Im sure he will be there or there abouts when the rankings are updated at the end of the month.

Salita shouldn't be ranked in anyones top 20 - Boxrec's got him at 60, and that seems about right.
