Surprised by that one to be honest. I said before contracts were even into negotiations that the gloves could make for a big stumbling block if either fighter didn't fancy the fight. Makes me think Floyd is itching to get this fight signed. Manny better be in the form of his life for this one otherwise he's in for a nasty beating.

Floyd seems very confident about this fight, signing early an agreeing to this, just get the feeling he really thinks he's gona get the win an prove the doubters wrong an good luck to him.

hes far too Cagey and if he lands a good Shot he may well hurt Manny but he very rarely jumps on fighters these days.
He could have cranked it up a bit more against Marquez but didnt really do that.

i'm not surprised that he's going with 8 oz's. I remember he claiming that he had to wear 10oz gloves when he fought Hatton and that took the the zing out his punches when comparing his KO victory over to Hitman to Manny's (manny wore 8's when he fought Ricky).

This is good news, another potential stumbling block out of the way. Is it actually confirmed that the fight is signed?

I agree. I hate saying Floyd will win because he's bigger, but that reach helps him an awful lot. I hope Pacquaio at least makes it interesting. He'll do a better job than Marquez, that's for sure.
