'Class B' referees, can ref up to 8 roundsmexican roadsweeper wrote:Referee's, who start out as 'Class B' are constantly being assessed by the Board of Control, who, when the time is right, promote the said officials up to the next level. The higher the rating, the better quality fights a referee is allowed to officiate.
The following 10 are Class 'A' Star rated referees (as of Summer 2009), Richie Davies, Phil Edwards, Howard Foster, Mark Green, Ian John-Lewis, John Keane, Victor Loughlin, Marcus McDonnell, Terry O'Connor and Dave Parris.
