Who would you say had them?

I ask this as my missus and I have just been talking about Jack Johnson, I was telling her a little about him cos I read the book during the summer, and have been watching the movie/docu', we got onto the subject as we were talking about Evander Holyfield and his warrior attitude and what he could withstand in the heat of battle.

So we got onto Johnson, boy did he have some balls to be how he was in the place and era he was, prob' the biggest of them all.

Anyone else with noteable Gonand le massive as big?

Naah,My vote would have to be for Max Schmeling for having the biggest balls
to even go through with the rematch with Joe Louis June-22-1938.
Just because of the hate(geneated by the press via Mike Jacobs) and climate that surrounded him going into the fight.

It's definitely not some big name fighter. Probably some Mexican cab driver who went to his execution vs Carlos Zarate and got peanuts for it.

Holyfield had a fair set on him fighting the best fighters at Heavyweight and giving away weight to them as well plus he never backed down to trade with the bigger punching lads

You could name a bunch of gutsy fighters who had courageous efforts, but to me nothing topped Johnson knowing that every time you fight there is someone in the crowd waiting to kill you.

You jest, but Bowe's courage in the second fight, whatever people may think of him, was something Joe Frazier would've been proud to call his own.
