Well shame it's not in Norwich, I think it's about time Sexton was awarded a fight on his home turf after his recent run of fights!

I'll be there non the less, I will be there. Unless Danny pulls up his socks and finds a bit of his former heart, skill and chin. This can only go one way!

why williams is fighting i dont know, he should retire, a good domestic boxer in his day but his punch resistance and stamina have long gone, sexton wins this with ease imo

'Loose to someone like Sexton' What does that mean? LOL - There is no other heavyweight more entitled to fight for the British then Sexton rite now.

I think what is being insinuated is that in his prime, Danny would have dealt with sexton easily.

Whilst danny was known to have the odd off night, I think it unlikely that Sexton would have lasted more than a few rounds with Danny in his prime.

It will be sad to see Williams being hammered into the ground like a tentpeg by Sexton, and I'm pretty sure that will be the result.

Win or lose here, it's time for Williams to retire.

Don't get me wrong, I pick Sexton as the favourite here - though would never back against Danny pulling off one last win - but the Norfolk lad will never be a patch on a prime Williams. He hasn't the heart, the punching power or the variety.

I'm simply saying that a prime Williams vs Sexton would have been a massacre of epic proportions, one which could have seen Sam seriously damaged!

Williams is shot, his punch resistance went a long time ago, he is slow on foot, too heavy and probably disinterested
BUT -

This is a 60/40 fight - Sexton is inexperienced, not even an 8 round fighter, gasses far too easily under
pressure, doesn't have a concussive enough punch to put Williams away and doesn't have Danny's ring
generalmanship and will be dictating neither pace or commandering the ring.

Danny will stop him in 10 rounds - you have heard it here - If Danny is as slow as an ageing bull in the paddock
- he can still throw fast combos and has the power to knock Sextons lights out!

It's probably more to do with his conditioning and his lack of experience about pacing himself over 12 rounds rather than heart - in my opinion.

Fair comment on conditioning and lack of experience, but heart? Don't think he's shown a lack of heart. He's only been stopped once, and that was whilst upright.

Oh no, Sexton has plenty of bottle - going to Belfast and beating Rogan twice has demonstrated that - anyway - I would pay to watch the all narridge affair of Sexton vs Herbie Hide! I am suprised Herbie has not publicly disrespected Sexton in the press about how he beat him up in sparring!

Is Hide doing the WBC thing, you know, where you sit on a high ranking for 6 years fighting 24-17 fighters until you get a shot at a vacated title.
