Dilks/Adamu Live next Friday.

Although its not a classic it is for a title (Comm super middle) and Dilks gets his chance to prove he can step up a level.

Remember Adamu beating Barney at York Hall for this title a while back now and then giving Froch all he could handle until he was decked in the mid/later rounds and Carl then took over. Very little on Adamu's record lately but the Ghanaian's are normally in shape so this could be tough for Dilks but he has some skills so he could go close.

Anyone got any views or know how Dilks is looking in training.

Will be tough but he can do it. Should definitely throw him in the mix with Smith and Dodson :TU:

Best of Luck Carl, Adamu is very strong or he certainly seemed it against Barney from ringside, although Matt did make him look clumsy at times, with decent footwork and movement. He just did not throw enough and Adamu deserved the decision. Really hope you can pull it off, I realise stamina and going 12 will be a concern but don't let him build up a head of steam, he can be controlled but if you let him into the fight early it will be hard work mate.

The Liverpool boxing scene is strong at the moment, and the Echo arena is very good (as long as they don't have rip-off ticket prices) , so things are looking good.

I'm quite near Liverpool, and I like the city, so I look forward to some good events there in future.

Aye we've had a really strong amateur scene over the last few years and now it looks as though the pro's are reaching the levels they should be.

Look forward to the fight Carl, been a fan ever since i saw your name popping up on the VIP cards. Gutted for you in the Prizefighter which was simply a robbery.

Bring that belt home!

Adamu , the fighting policeman from Accra is a real handful.

I remember seeing this skinny little bloke at the weigh-in wearing a t-shirt, then when he stepped into the ring he was bulked up like ram-man.

I first heard of him when he dumped Fry out the olympics i recall.
