I wish i could claim back the 5+ hours i have wasted since Friday night.

I must have seen 6 opponents who didn't want to fight whatsoever on the spin.

I've resorted to smoking a spliff to make that fight seem remotely interesting.

Vitali / Johnson was awful
Jefferies gave a beatdown to someone he was expected to beat
David Price the exact same
Haskins / Broadhurst was boxing with wrestling thrown into the fight aswell

Look on the brightside:
Darnichiyan and Bradley are interesting fights
Paulie Malinaggi / Juan Diaz is on but I have a feeling that will be rubbish

I'm having my usual average week but if Paulie wins via SD tonight it might help.

pascal-diaconu 2 was meant to be good. pascal again outfought the slugger in another classy, exciting battle, suffering a dislocated shoulder in the championship rounds.

pascal is one of boxing's true warriors. what a 12 months he has had! this time last year he lost to froch in a war, for WBC 168 belt. he comes back, nearly takes nievas' head off. beats diaconu in a great fight for WBC 175 belt. stops tricky spoiler branco a few months later, defense #1. then beats diaconu in another classic - defense #2 - that grabbed the french-canadian fans' attention. is there a busier champ in boxing? pascal, adamek, that seems to be about it for truly active champs.

Hasn't Vitali had 2 fights in under 3 months? That's not bad going. I wish Haye would follow his lead. David needs to ditch this 1 fight a year nonsense.

I work Sundays tragically. That said I usually lose the rag at the Sunday show anyway. It's a staid, awkward version of Soccer AM with zero risks, bad shirts and ridiculously OTT analysis of every little bloody thing that occurs. 'Kammy' and his sidekick having 'banter' with Alex Mcleish or whatever other humorless and hungover manager they've talked in to coming on and sitting on the couch for 2 hrs. Cut the crap and show us the bloody goals already! :witzend:

Oh yeah i'll share some of my top picks this week.

Don Broadhurst KO 10
Matthew Edmonds PTS
Oleg Maskaev KO 5
Kevin Johnson PTS
Juan Diaz PTS

I think you can safely say i'll be at the bottom of the league again.

not sure re vitali. arreola wasn't so long ago, i believe. but the 4 years ol' fish face had off keep me from taking him truly seriously. and the fact that instead of picking on out of shape lumps, he's now picking on raw prospects...whereas pascal has been fighting fight of the year calibre wars (3 of 'em) and scoring KOs (2 of 'em).

and for pascal to fight on, in an epic war, with a dislocated shoulder. when you think vitali gave up vs chris byrd with a shoulder injury.

pascal has shamed 'im!

It's happened ONCE in his career. It's hardly his mantra.

yep. probably cos he wanted the christmas money during the recession.

to think that in 12 months jean pascal has had 3 fight of the year calibre 12-rounders, a title defense vs a decent spoiler and a one punch KO of a fringe contender/journeyman - this pisses on ol' fish mouth's busy spell.
