To be honest, I think we need to see him under a bit more pressure in fights to see how he shapes up. He DID look slick against Lomax, thats for sure, but he was (with no disrespect to Lomax) a higher level.

your right, althought its not like lomax is a low level fighter,lomax has won prizefighter were he beat bami and nigel wright in the process(recent conqueror of arthur) and was also if i remember correctly undefeated and ABA amateur champion, the guy posessed some very decent pedgree if u ask me, but i was just with this thread refering to brook being someone reminicent of abraham.

Brook is nothing like Abraham. Abraham is a throwback brawler who relies on pure power and rock hard head.

Kell Brook is an exciting prospect, as he has not moved up in class to deserve any other label than top prospect. When he has beaten some proven fighters, maybe then we can start comparing him with world level fighters, not before.

having read alot of this thread it is apparent it hasnt recieved appreciation, i was rather tired at the point of making it and made it on the basis that i have never heard the two compared despite feelings that there is some yet not complete similarities, abraham is far from a throwback brawley he is a technician similar to brook and has power similar to brook, so people should spend some time thinking instead of dismissing my comments and throwing around irrelevent and pointless insults
