I'm just trying to stir up Lowie to be honest. I reckon Geale is o.k., but unless he adds power to his repertoire, he will remain at the level he is at.

Mundine only beat him on a split decision.

^^ I still don't think that means a heap at MW. As Mundine continues to go down in weight he gets less powerful, but develops no more speed.

He has said he can't play football again because his hip is gone. That would hurt his movement.

Very hard to select due to the numbers and eras involved but one of the below was very easy. No points for guessing!

PAST:

Over-rated: Bobby Dunlop, but it was Ern McQuillan's fault in getting Bobby to fight stiffs to build up his record. Then he met Jose Torres.

Under-rated: Jack Carroll, top line Yanks of the era were reluctant to venture downunder to tangle with Jack.

PRESENT:

Over-rated: Anthony Mundine - no futher comment required.

Under-rated: One from left field: Garth Wood, who may be going places the Contender series.

think the lad has talent but certain skills need to develop-to me e isjust a counter punch away from disaster at this stage.certainly seems to ave power and is a mean looking dude.
time will tell wen te competition heats ups-last victory good but tall order for opponent to figt again so soon after his last fight.

Beltane, Think you're a bit tough on Bobby Dunlop.
Macquillan certainly overmatched him against Torres.
But after the Torres fight Dunlop went on to win his next 11 fights against some tough opponents [ no cab drivers ]
before losing his last fight in NZ against a tough American journeyman HW Henry Clark, giving away 8 kg . He retired
at 24 yrs of age finishing with a 39 - 6 - 0 record. Ring Mag. ranked him at number 3 LHW in 1968.

Who would win a Green V Dunlop match up ?

You got Mungbean in the right category.

Bloody hell - there are no bigger dickheads than the likes of you on the boxrec Australian/SP forum (not including notable exceptions) - the majority of you don't even know who Tom Heeney is.

Its pathetic how you bag your most succesful boxer of the millenium - why do you have to make posts to slag off Mundine - WE ALL KNOW YOU DON'T LIKE HIM! Go back to sleep and come back when you have something more insightful to share with us - instead of repeating the same crap over and over again.

Hopefully - the powers that be on boxrec can replace this with a 'canadian boxing forum' that would be a bit more interesting I think. A pity, I love Australian boxing but it is apparent the majority of you know shit. :geek2:

No matter. 8)

With a few exceptions - the majority of posters on this forum let themselves down time and time again with their boring, lack of knowledge on the sport in their country -

Isn't it time one of you made another 'Anthony Mundine is crap' thread - its been a day since you made the last one!
