only if jennings wins can't see brook staying at british level after this fight

Kev should take him , Shouldnt be standing in a spot long enough to get nailed with one of those Thompson Body shots

Think Thompsons style is made for Kev , should be interesting though

Thompson has been blasting his way through jouneyman types Latley so needs this step up

first reaction is a Thompson stoppage. However, that Postman Mcintyre is pretty blood savvy in the ring and has got better with age. I'd actually go Mcintyre.
It seems a little ironic to me that Hattons are staging a British Welter eliminator after the amount of talking and complaining WELTERWEIGHT Matthew has done about the British title during his 9 year and 43 fight career, but is yet to challenge for.

Got to be honest here and I think your first impression is correct, not sure this goes past the second round, I just think Thompson's high octane type attacks early in a fight are all wrong for Kevin.

only saw thompson years back against vincent vuma, started well but was eventually found out and vuma took him out, if thompson has matured then he wins on skill if not he doesnt ,it appears sort of straight forward this one imo

thompson is essentially a banger. Win on skill, he certainly does not.

I agree , he can fair Whack but he had a torrid time off it against an imported Southpaw about year or 2 back
and was very lucky to get the decision ,
Kev should be able to do much the same but make sure he keeps out the way of the big punch early.
take him to later rounds and crank up the heat

To be fair thugh mate the "imported southpaw" was no mug. Horta lost to former world title challenger Frederic Klose by MD over 8 in his fight before, and has since won the IBF international light middleweight title, the french welterweight title and fought for the EU Welterweight title losing on pts over 12. A latvian road sweep he isnt!

Shame that McIntyre V Flournoy didn't happen, although it wasn't anyones fault.

Intresting fight I reckon Thompson will have a bit too much for McIntyre, good to see Hatton Promotions stepping Thompson up in competition

at akita - Flournoy certainly didnt put Kev down dont know where you heard that

Was told by most that saw it and Kevin ( this could be classed as Biased yes ) after a close Frist round Kev was battering him 2 round after catching him with good hook and then the Fight had to be stopped as no Doctors present.

Boxing news only reported the first round and nothing after that.

Thats history though and this is new opponent and should be good one. :TU:

I can see Mcintyre winning this. Thompson may have the bigger punch, but I can see him getting outboxed down the stretch.

x 2.

McIntyre will certainly pose the big banger some questions and test his stamina.

Good fight.
