Arklow's James Moore will fight only his second pro fight in Ireland when he takes on the Belfast fighter Neil Sinclair in what will surely be one of the Domestic Irish fights of the year. The fight is set to take place in April for the Irish Light Middleweight Title. Talks that John Duddy was to come home to fight Sinclair in March seem to have evaporated. an excellent match up - truely excellent match up!! Number 14 v number 16 on my Irish P4P list. The momentum is with Sinclair at the moment and Moore is having a terrible time of it.
Hats off to Tommy Egan!

Before everyone gets confused - its not Jamie Moore of Salford, who is eligable to fight for the Irish Title.

No it's James Moore from Arklow, Co Wicklow- Irish Light Middleweight, very good boxer also, spent most of his time in the states, recently lost a decision to Yuri Foreman.

I was beginning to get excited until I saw Tommy Egan's name attached. I'll wait until they are standing in opposite corners of the ring before I believe it. How many people were offered a shot at Cristobal Cruz again?

I agree, I think Sinclair will be or at least should be firm favourite for this. Since losing to Rosado last year Moore has been shaky to say the least as you were implying, maybe he is just going through the motions in the States and a trip back to Ireland for a big fight against Sinclair will give him fresh chance to get his career back on track. I will definitely have to make the trip up the country to go to this one.

And Bernard Dunne before he fought Cordoba.
The point I'm making is, in yesterday's Belfast Telegraph it was said that Craig Hamilton and allegedly were working on Duddy-Sinclair so we shall wait and see what transpires.
I like Tommy, he's a nice fella and I hope his shows get off the ground, but let's hope he's not jumping the gun on this one.

Great matchup getting Moore back in the ring but should be another gruelling match for him

Good luck James Moore... if nothing else for the fact we have exactly the same name!
