If you haven't got the Xbox yet I'd personally recommend the PS3, which has some great exclusives like Unchartered 2, which maybe the best game ever. Plus its got Bluray, is not noisey, and has free online play. You can pick up the 120gb Ps3 instore at John Lewis at the mo for 199

I overdosed on Commodore 64 games as a kid, so barely got into any consoles as the years went by.

Then i got an Xbox360 and fight night round 3 and all was good for a few months. Then it got boxed up and put back under the bed.

I got a present, the new Call Of Duty 4 (modern warfare) and thought ok i will give it a spin.

I swear i can't get enough of the bloody thing now. I cracked the main game in a day (you don't have lives, you just continue were you got killed) and now have got myself 'online' and am forever shooting my friends in the face and arguing with randoms over my headset/mic.

My advise is, do not think of buying this game - it has left me and about 12 mates in the doghouse. Our other half's call themselves the Call of duty widows.

Im truly embarrassed to have admitted this all to you. I'm now a games nerd as well as a forum geek.
