i was at the press conference today and it was announced that courtney fry has been offered the chance to fight bellew for the wba internation belt.

it was said courtney was offered the fight this morning and he as asked for a little time to think it over,

this could be another all scouse affair and a fight worth watching. just hope courtney excepts it.

it would be a really good undercard fight and a great fight for tony this stage of his career hope it comes off

I would have thought that they could fight for the Commonwealth title. Is there any chance it will be for that title as well?

I hope this fight gets made, as Bellew needs to step up his competition level now.

yeah totally agree with you. Bellew is a quality fighter and i think its time the competition is stepped up. Another reason is im definately going this show and it would be a great addition to the show.

Not going to disagree but i'm going to reserve judgment on Bellew until he fights someone who will give and take it back.

thats cool. I think Tony has had a couple of tests already but has made those tests look easy and so most people dont regard them as tests. But I know he has the talent to come through

I might be wrong but I remember reading tony wasn't best pleased that fry and dilks were saying they were the best 2 light heaveyweights in liverpool so tony might be out to prove him wrong

fry should turn it in bellew will hurt him.

Hello guys and thanks for the comments already, Me and Courtney are friends and just so people know I didn't ask for this fight, Im not the matchmaker Im the fighter, I think Courtney is a good lad but I just do my job which is train and fight the rest I leave up to Arnie , Dean & Frank ..

Im just looking forward to going back into camp on the 4th January, Knowing Im fighting a 12 rounder is a buzz and I just can't wait to start work fully as Im just ticking over at the min, Come the 12th it won't matter who's in the corner cos Im gonna prepare to go to hell and back..

That would be a good step up fight for Tony, Fry is a very decent operater I see Fry giving him trouble early but then Bellew showing his class and winning on points and as said before would make a very good undercard fight

Courtney is a good boxer as u know Tony,but il predict u in 3-4 rounds....No pressure mate

I rate Nathan highly and don't think he's afraid of anyone including myself so blows that theory straight out of the water!!
