Dilks has flew right under the radar and managed to snare a crack at the commonwealth strap, but what chance are folk giving him at pulling off the upset?

Adamu is solid but certainly unexeptional, he's been in with some good names, but not beaten many. He also lost his last fight and hasn't fought for over a year.

What kind of chance does Dilks have? Can't really find any decent footage of him floating about. Just a couple sparring sessions on youtube.

I'll take it by the lack of replies that nobody really knows then.

think dilks will take a hard fought points win, an impressive win puts him in the frame for a big pay day against the winner against smigga dodson in a unification

Was he the fella that was in Prizefighter earlier in the year or am I thinking of someone else. Super Middleweight or LHW I think???

yeah that's him he lost controverialy in that he was announced the winner but then when he got back to locker room he got told they announced the wrong winner

Alrite folks I am indeed the guy who was in the prizefighter made the weight today bang on 168 so made up really chomping at the bit now carnt wait to get in there it's going to be tuff but I'll do it. This is my chance an I intend on taking it with both hands

As for Carl's chances, having had a word with Carl and more importantly his trainer Karl Ince, he has a good chance if he gets his tactics right on the night. Adamu is a tough cookie but hasn't faced anyone of any class since 2005 and has been inactive for 12 months.

Carl boxed well against Billy boyle in his last fight for the vacant masters light heavy title. Billy came at Carl hard and after a hard 4 rounds, Carl just stayed away from Billy and jabbed him for the rest of the fight. Billy looked for the overhand right but couldnt land it and in the end it was a reasonably comfortable performance from Carl.

Hopefully he can brong the title back to Liverpool

Agree with Carl there maybe slightly early, but the chance had to be taken & I am sure that he will grab the title with both hands with a points win.

He beat Matthew Barney for the Commonwealth, Carl Froch only beat him by 3 rounds..

Yeah the Froch result is impressive...Barney well i dunno, Matthew Barney is the only boxer i've ever known whose never had a fight

But Adamu takimg Froch to a relatively close decision is good form.

But that was some time ago and he's not done anything of note for a long time really. The inactivity won't help him either against an opponent who'll be looking to use back foot, slick boxing.

No doubt it'll be a difficult fight against a hard man, but it seems a winnable fight for Carl and a great opportunity. I think an hope he can do it on the cards tomo.

i remember people saying froch froze abit that night.

adamu was a big 12stoner strong as an ox, but he must struggle now,i think dilks has a very decent chance of beating adamu if he uses his range & doesnt struggle keeping him at bay.be a good notch on his belt.
