Don't you think it's a bit short-sighted to criticise them for a record in which you must plainly concede your interest supercedes theres, & for guys who have to compile data on literally hundreds of thousands of boxers, & to tell them to, "Get their stats straight?"

Okay, Hes had 5 losses, and 3 draws, 70 Wins, that only adds up to 78 bouts,But u claim its 79??

well, if ever martin scorcese or any other hollywood big-wig makes a movie of the life of Mr Jack Gross, i hope you are as tenacious about the facts of your grandad's life after they have handed you the cheque.

My uncle's record is on boxrec. I hope they got it right.


The young woman is justifiably proud of her grandfather. Let her be.

It would be of great help if she would list the primary source(s).

BTW I still havent received an answer concerning
the validity of Battling Norlolk having ever really defeating Jack Johnson and its been over a year since I raised the question.
and Jack Johnson is a legendary fighter.
