Fight of the coming year, confirmed. (for me)

This is the one I want to see....even though Kessler is probably on the way down.
I have noticed the sepos have it on showtime (non PPV) I bet we have to pay.

Ripped off again!

It amazes me how these guys fight each other and 'the man' ends up going down to flyweight to avoid them. He could have been right in the mix.

Any way roll on April 17

12 super middleweight Carl Froch 26(20)-0(0)-0

This is going to be a great fight, Kessler needs to win, to get back in the winners circle, if he loses it could be the beginning of the end...

Kessler will wake up from his last loss to Andre Ward, he will BEAT Froch and expose him as an overrated fighter

You know this is the 2nd round of the Showtime World Boxing Classic: Super Six Tournament right? and Kessler no longer has a belt.

I think Kessler will be way to much for Froch (Who was lucky to escape Direll & Taylor)

Couldn't agree more, Froch is the most over rated fighter i can ever remember, Taylor shot to shit embarresed the over confident Brit, Dirrell a scared cat out boxed the excuse making Brit to pieces.

If Kessler loses i will say sorry to the Pom, but i think i will still be scratching my head  :shame:

I give him all the credit in the world for wanting to step up, i just think it's hilarious that it's lasted this long, he got owned for 11 rounds against a shot fighter and wins because the guy he's facing didn't train for a 12 round fight, then he fights an inexperienced campaigner barely lands 5 punch's on him and gets a hometown nod.
It's without doubt the funniest rise i've ever seen and if he somehow wrangles a win over Kessler i will be shocked..shocked..shocked.

Why are we talking about Mundine

I agree, Froch has had some home town "luck". Dale Westerman gave him a hard time in 2006, untill the ref waved the fight off midway through the ninth on a shady pretence. In my veiw Froch could almost only win by K.O. at that stage.

However he beat Brian Magee straight after that and has defended his world title a couple of times and remains unbeaten, all be it with the home town advantage. All things taken into account he still deserves some respect.

The fight with Kessler will be the acid test.
