I know its slightly off-topic but can anyone reccomend a nice hotel near Wembley arena. I am taking my wife to the Night of Champions Card on Feb 13th. Looking for somewhere close to Wembley but close enough to go out and enjoy the London nightlife afterwards.
I know I'm asking alot but can anyone suggest anywhere
Thanks

Wembley is quite a way from the London nightlife, so you're going to have to travel a bit to one or the other. Hilton Metropole on Edgware Road would split the difference quite well. Or Hilton or Novotel hotels in Paddington. If I was you and could afford it, I would stay at the Landmark in Marylebone, it's right next to the station and there's a fast train to Wembley, (about 10 min journey). I would never stay out at Wembley, it's a dump and there's nothing to do out there. If that's not what you want, I should be able to point you in the direction of something else.

If you want a nice hotel more central, look around Baker Street tube as it is only 2 stops from Wembley Park on the Metropolitan Line (about 10 mins and a 10min walk) yet nice and central and near Regents Park (Wembley and surrounds is a dump).
There's a Park Plaza (called the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes) or a place called the Four Seasons in Gloucester Place which is a lot cheaper but has some nice write-ups on Trip Adviser.

I agree, I'm originally from that way which makes it convenient for fight nights but theres not much in terms of good night out. Use one of the cheap hotel sites and make sure the hotel is in tube zones 1 or 2 (stick to the northside of the river) and you'll be fine. I think Wembley needs that Casino!
