This looks like it was pre fight in the change rooms at ABA. Will try and verify this photo from the source-- hopefully I am guessing the right one.

Have had similar wraps approved most often. The knuckles are mainly padding. In my experience the wraps have been scrutenised then passed. Go buy yourself a role of gores and inspect.

Firstly I never wrapped those hands, im not Mussons trainer.
Second, not sure what your talking about Colin russell but i look at the Aussie forum almost daily and if there is a thread about wrapping hands etc then I would have seen it and chosen not to comment on it. Also correct me if im wrong but this thread was started by Anton?
"Iron Rhino" your most welcome to come to Auckland and fight Chauncy i brought it up in another forum and you chose to ignore it or maybe you "looked" but didnt "see" as colin russell says!
I do have better pics of Musson if your after one Anton!!

true...doubt every bout is ever signed off and this is probably a bad example. However, have seen much bigger "knuckle dusters" around few of the shows....

Every country has diffrent handwrap rules, Its acceptable to put tape over the knuckles in NZ Apparently. In OZ its not. A lot of states in the US you see Tape jobs like that also. I remember seeing Trinidad's handwraps once that were very similar.

Whats the audience attendance like normally for Chauncys shows, i read the Fist magazines NZ corner, it said the Mailata fight had less then 200 people attend, however the guy writing the article said it was disappointing cause it was a quality fight.
Also N2,I know you don't look after him, but Soulan Powencby had a major scare in his last tune up fight i hear, apparently getting beat in the first 4 rounds by a little known fighter Faimasasa Tavui, then Soulan got dropped before the end of the 4th, only to have Tavui quit at the end of the round,Hmmmm, why would a guy who apparently was winning the fight so convincingly, and had a bloke in real trouble just up and quit. :??

ABA shows are small scale-- max capacity is 500. 200 is bout usual numbers out of which less than half actually pay the gate. Re Soulan V Faimasaa it's a mystery as to why after four rounds the towel was dropped in the middle of the ring by the combatant himself, I am sure there are enough theories around it......

I was told Faimasasa only agreed to 4 rounds, but when he rolled up to the venue he found out it was a title fight over 12, so when he completed 4 he threw in the towel & cleared off
They are going again on Jan 31 over 6 @ ABA
