My annual list, keeping things strictly domestic. Some obvious ones we've already discussed, and a couple of leftfield choices that occurred to me.

Nice list, would be a sweet 2010 if all those fights actually happened. How about Moore vs Barker/Macklin now Moore's confirmed he's at middleweight. Also Arthur(Alex) versus John Murray. Would it be a last hurrah for Arthur or a coming of age for Murray? Its a fight I'd like to see. I have a feeling we might get Mitchell versus Arthur soon enough seeing as their under the same promotional banner. Not a bad fight if Arthur isn't completely past it.

Brook versus Thompson would be a barnburner while it lasted! Heres hoping Thompson gets past McIntyre, though I favour McIntyre in that fight.

Looking at your list most likely one to happen are Hatton-Khan and Enzo versus Hide. Especially if Hatton can get a comeback win. That fight would be massive in Manchester - if they played their cards right they could definitely fill the City of Manchester Stadium. Though thinking about it, a certain promoter will probably try his hardest to stop the fight from happening or muscle in on the action which would throw a spanner in the works. Another worry (being from the North-West myself) is that I could easily imagine a big kick-off between Man City fans and Khan's fans if that fight happened.

Wouldn't it just. But I've been doing these lists (for changing websites) for four years now, and of the 10, the most that have ever come to pass in one year was two!

Funnily enough, I was actually going to say a Hatton-Khan fight has "riot" written all over it but I didn't want to sound too negative. I used to hang about with a lot of Bolton Pakistani youth as a youngster and lets just say there not adverse to a scrap - especially if theres a lot of them. And Man City fans are just...Man City Fans!

Its not just Man City fans though,Hatton attracts thousands of pissed-up chavs/football casuals from all over Britain.

Good list but I wouldn't want to see 1,2 or 8. If Hatton fights again I want him to fight people that if he loses it won't mess up his record or reputation. I don't want to see Hatton fighting Khan because if Hatton wins he won't get much recognition and if he loses people will just still question Khan and will say that Hatton is a shot fighter. If Hatton fights Witter, it will be similar for both men. I would prefer to see Hatton v Marquez or even Cotto. Khan will probably continue to fight hand picked oppenents that make him look impressive, but I hope not and Witter should just retire.

A rematch for Moore against Rhodes will not be the same as Rhodes has shown that he can beat him either way. More needs to conentrate on middleweight and then by the end of year look at getting a fight with either Macklin or Barker, fighting people like Renda, Samuels and Butler on the way.

I see from last years list you don't have too much luck with fights you would like to see, but hey do any of us?

I think this year will be similar to last, 1 or 2 classics that most wish for, a couple of fights that we think will never happen and then they somehow do and end up to be great, a few fights arranged within a month that turn out to be better than expected and then a couple of all out wars that no one thought would happen or be any good.


Then there's always the fights that you think are going to be classics and then end up being nightmares

Yes - Haye-Maccarinelli hardly lived up to expectations, although I guess it was exciting in that it propelled Haye into stardom. Harrison-Williams 1 was a dud.
