Is this fight going ahead or what? It's only just over a month to the scheduled fight. Who do you think will win?

I hope so but I'm not overly confident. Watching a few vids of Pirog on youtube and this guy is no bum. Very slick, quick accurate punches. I do think Macklin will win but it ain't gonna be a cakewalk. Pirog does not move his head nearly enough so hopefully Mack can land another cracking hook we have seen so much of lately and take him out. If it goes the 12 rounds I reckon Pirog may scrape it on points.

i assume the judges will want to get out of aston so macklin will def. win if it goes to decision!
on another thread someone (jonp) pointed out that pirog makes amateurish mistakes with his footwork, that combined with like you say lack of head movement, means i bet you Joe G will come up with the perfect plan for matthew to get to Pirog
but pirog does seem quite heavyhanded so I'd like to see Matt box clever and canny, especially early on

I think this fight is off for the time being.
Also notice how pirog stands with his right hand down admiring his work after he lands a nice shot or combo not a good thing when facing a clever fighter who can whack a bit.

Jon's right. I'm told the fight has been pushed back to April with the new venue either the NIA or the LG Arena.

Fight to move to April. Who will headline the February Hatton bill. I don't think they got anymore headline acts.

rendall munroe apparently is vacating his commonwealth title so i can imagine that hatton will get scott quigg a shot at it. he was trying to get a fight with jason booth for quigg. im pretty sure quigg will headline the february show if it still goes ahead
