i think tony dodson has got a point to prove and thats what i think he will do

You now I dnt think this is going to be a walk in the park for Paul that everyone is making out imo. Tony is a really dangerous fighter an as he fight goes on it could go either way I like both lads so am going to sit on the fence but I think here will be fireworks while it lasts for who thow I cudnt pick

i dont think tony dodson is not getting the respect he deserves and that is why tony dodson will win . all this talk of paul smith ( walk in the park ) is going to to do him no favours.

I'm thinking that Smigga will eventually get some shots in on Dodson and stop him, in the manner that Quigley did, but you never know, Dodson could fight smarter come the later rounds and preserve a lead till the end.

You now I've just got a feeling that tony is going to box a smart fight an not mix it early on because of the being prone to cuts! I also think he's just got that little more championship experiance! The only thing thow will his face hold up we all now Paul can punch has he still got it in the tank to box the clever fight an not get drawn in I think he will win if not an trys fighting he'll get beat either on cuts or stopped to the body

i think dodson will get beat earlier if he tries to be clever & box, quigley showed that smith can be swamped & aint no powerhouse @ s.middle.& even if dodsons bullying supresses smith, it will be only a matter of time before he's cutting rug

loking forward to another great night of boxing for the city, ive got to go with smith by late tko im a fan of both lads with them being from liverpool so im not biased in anyway, i see dodson causing problems early on but then smith taking over from about the fourth then stopping him around the 10th, but when the crowd gets going and the adrenaline gets kicking in it will most prob end up a war,

also looking forward to see who they match swifty and bomber up with, 2 future champs there imo

Agree with both of you there.

Think the styles will come together better than the mismatch between Smigga and Quigley.. makes for a great night in the city.

All joking aside I have met and interviewed both, nice lads!!! I'm conflicted here but i know it will be a great night for the City, and British boxing as a whole!!

But the Smith fan club on here have no idea how tough this will be for 'Smigga'!

Smith for me better boxer will catch Dobson coming in and land good combo's I think he'll win impressevlly and look brilliant in the process

they show no respect for tony dodson as i said earlier a walk in the park not a problem , is it worth dodson turning up

no1 as mentioned no respect 4 tony dodson,we all have respect 4 him as a fighter. every fighter deserves respect an every boxer has respect 4 another boxing man, alls as been stated is opinions, as is my opinion, tough, good fight while it lasts, but se paul stoppin him head or body.

I respect Tony Dodson as a person, he is a lovely fella. As a fighter I respect Tony Dodson too, I have all the respect in the world for what he has done in the past also...but in my opinion he can no longer take the shots....hence me seeing it as a Smith KO.

Looking forward to this, should be a much better style match up than Smith against Quigley. If Smith can get his shots off then I think he should be able to stop Dodson, maybe mid to late, but we keep waiting to see Smith put it all together on the night and he just hasn't really done than yet imo. Wouldn't be surprised if he lost a points decision.
