John Hopoate is fighting up in Townsville next mth and is news it be fight Michael Kirby,should be a good a fight if it comes off.

I think this one could go 12, kirby is a inside fighter, he is going to put his head on his chest and punch, wilson knocked hopoate out with long punches he fights on the outside.

hoppa should just try and fight some of the lower guys for 6-10 of his next fights to give him some confidence and a chance to learn a bit more without being fully tested every fight. he just doesn't have enough skill to compete with some of these better guys over a 8-10 round fight.

yeah i just seen that, Hoppa v Cameron in March, Does that mean hes not fighting u IronRhino??

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but myself and a few mates are looking at attending this up in Townsville.

Anybody have any ideas as to what the seating arrangements are like? Townsville Entertainment Centre website ( http://www.tecc.net.au/whats_on.php ) gives four classes of tickets, with the most expensive only being $60 (Vip stuff would be more I'd imagine). What category of ticket is the best?

Notice that Hoppa has fallen off the card for his February bout with the Iron Rhino but is still on the slate for Shane Cameron in March.

If HOPPA'S gunna get KOed its better to be KOed by Cameron rather than Kirby that's why he fought Oliver McCall because he can say he fought a former World Champ rather than learn his basics fighting more local Heavyweights .

Looks like Hoppa will be in the ring a bit longer, trying to earn a quid, as this weekend's Manly Daily has advised that Hoppa now has ankle-biter number 9 on the way and Hoppa has stated he doesn't like odd numbers.

When he hangs up his gloves, Hoppa is guaranteed a hands on role as a sperm donor to continue his income stream.
