No point going head to head with the Super Six, they'll just be competing for the same audiance. That's ignoring the fact its a completley pointless fight. Hopkins is operating at a different level to Jones.

The only consolation for me is knowing that Jones isn't alone, he's joining a long list of greats who just didn't know when to quit. Trying my hardest to keep that era in time when he was unbeatable, locked away from the present.

Ol' Popkins doesn't fancy his chancy against the young guns. No problem with that, I guess. I think it'll be better once he retires.

The ego`s of both guys will demand a sizeable purse. So where is the money going to come from?
It won`t sell on PPV ... and who`d fork out big money to sit and watch these two dinasaurs go through the motions??

Farcical fight, it won't even get big money anymore.

Hopkins is still good enough to mix it with world class boxers and should be doing that, Jones on the over hand is becoming an embarrassment, he can't seem to accept his days of being incredible are long gone and will never return.

I think it will be on VERSUS, both their last fights were.

If this is to go ahead, as planned, on the same night as the Super 6, I hope it bombs, and bombs badly. I will despair for boxing if more people care about this than real, competetive fights.

Just retire Roy. You were as untouchable as any fighter I've ever seen. It's sad to see him carry on like this. And you just know Hopkins will do a Calzaghe, and think that his (inevitable) win actually means something.

Just the fight that boxing needs after Pac-Mayweather fell through, maybe the winner can fight Antonio Tarver again!

It sold over double what Pavlik Hopkins did. Infact more than Pavlik Hopkins and RJJ Calzaghe combined.
