Looks fairly capable, to be fair-

Can't see him winning, but might carry an outside chance.

Tough fight for Matt but he is getting well paid and he is well up for it. Obviously a big underdog but he can bang and was an NABC champ and won a couple of junior aba titles in his day

I'd expect him to come to win, but De Gale to stop him.
Hopefully the stoppage won't be premature, though.

Dont know nothing about the fella, but his record shows from 19 fights he's been knocked out 4 times at middleweight and once at supermiddle, so he does not appear to be the toughest sort, not on paper anyway.
Not been impressed at all with DeGale in his first few fights and wont be surprised if he does'nt get anywhere in the pro ranks. Time will tell, i hope he can prove me wrong, but from what i've seen of him so far i'm doubting he will.

Hmm what has he looked like since he came back a win against a crap opponent and a loss against a good one on his record doesn't look too promising?

This is boxing, they aren't bringing Barr into win! But it is a step up in class.
He lost on a cut in his last fight, he should be able to give Degale rounds and be competitive while it lasts. If Degale gets the job done quickly it will be a very good result.

Now, that WOULD be a tricky fight for De Gale.
I would enjoy seeing that one.

looks like a decent match for DeGale.
an early stoppage (although hopefully not a premature one) would be a very impressive result for DeGale.
