Some knockout that was, surprised he didnt brake ahmeds neck

Yep that was some KO, Ahmed was being fairly wild and just didn;t see it coming so he wasn;t tensing at all in expectancy of a punch landing, so his head went for a wild swivel! I thought his head was gona come off his shoulders, that's gona ache in the morning!

Is it just me or does Ahmed have a strange type of a twitch or something when he unloads? It looked to me like he closes his eyes or his face goes to one side whenever he was throwing, it also looked like that happened when he took that bomb to the chin.

Yeh to me he's got some speed but technique wise he seems all over the shop.

I never expected the knockout super little punch.

This division is a good one for Sexton in my opinion and with a few more defences under his belt he can make the step up and fight Shinny in what should be a corker.

I dont think Sexton is ready yet he needs an awkward guy but definitely looks like a good prospect.

I would say him v Edwards in an eliminator?

Hi power will beat most in the division, just needs to improve on his defence, I'm sure it will come though.

Great knock out, had to rewind it and re watch it loads of times on Friday.

Yep definite british titlist in the making, I would say yep put him in with Edwards, will be a good learning fight as Edwards is no mug and takes a good shot. If he beats Edwards then the obvious option is then have a go at Bayaar who looks a good strong flyweight so it would be a cracking matchup.

What a punch! Agree with Londonirish, I'm sure this will be Sky's knockout of the year for 2010.

Although he's short on pro experience, with that kind of result he must have booked a British title shot. Bayar is very good, but Sexton may just have the talent (and power) to make good the gulf in experience.

If his team think he's good enough to take Bayar...go for it and if he's succesful, then defend against Edwards at that point and start notching up wins for the Lonsdale belt....not easy to do at Flyweight.

Edwards and then Bayaar would be a logical progression and two very good learning fights against tough, experienced guys.
