THE BBC BOXING SCANDAL - THEY ARE FU~KING IDIOTS!

LOOKING at the FRIDAY NIGHT Scheduling, I was shocked to see 11.25pm Film : The Couch Trip (1988) Comedy starring Walter Matthau, the film lasts till 01.05am.
SO THIS IS THE IMPORTANT EVENT that the BBC have decided to delay the SPROTT/WILLIAMS figt till the next day?
THIS IS ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT
A fornicating SCANDAL
11.25PM TIME SLOT was open but the BBC DECIDED TO ABUSE YOUR LICENSE PAYING RIGHTS by delaying what is probably THE DOMESTIC FIGHT OF THE YEAR!
Don't the BBC understand that BOXING is one of those sports that needs to be watched LIVE or at the least DELAYED VIEWING BY AN HOUR OR SO!
So I say to you fellow BOXREC MEMBERS, If you care about BOXING, please let your feelings be known by emailing the BBC and telling them how wrong they are!
PLEASE CHECK THIS SITE OUT BELOW and let them know your ANGER so they'll never FU~K UP AGAIN!

WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS why they can't show the WHOLE FIGHT LIVE ON BBC3, this makes perfect sense for such an important fight. WHY BUILD UP THIS FIGHT IN THEIR PREVIOUS SHOW'S only to show the fight the next day hidden away on GRANDSTAND who no one watches anyway!

Well, I was getting the fight streamed to me. In terms of the the hours delay, this would have mean't the fight would have been ready for me to watch just as I got home from work on Friday. PERFECT I THOUGHT but now I Must wait a WHOLE DAY TO WATCH IT!
Saturday, I won't care because I'll be TOO BUSY FOCUSING ON the BABY JOE MESI's Fight

Well, Grandstand gets more viewers, look at it that way. I'm pretty convinced it will be a good fight and might attract people to boxing
I'm happy with all the free boxing I get, complaining is of no use

One thing that I always find it strage that tv companies such as the BBC don't consider is:
* - Stick it live on BBC2, BBC3 or BBC4 and then show it on Grandstand as planned.
* - Offer to split it with Eurosport, see if they want to show it live or delayed thus sharing the cost.
I assume they will have the full TV crew there, there are now 1000's of digital channels, surely one of those would show an interest in having it live?

jesus christ calm down nasty. if this is the fight of the year then what a crappy year for british boxing. grandtsand gets millions more viewers than a friday night boxing show anyway.
why does an american care so much about this fight? a pair of journeyman who have already had one crap fight beforehand anyway? weird.

The best fight this weekend is way down the weight spectrum: the IBF flyweight title showdown between Irene Pacheco and Damaen kelly. Both men are, essentially, unbeaten.

shame on me but flyweights just do not interest me. i'd rather watch the two hulking heavies.

Shit!
All you British/Dutch Guys always watch our Boys in America, so why can't I take an interest in British Boxing?
That's the problem with British people, they don't complain enough!
Look, i like to see my BOXING LIVE or at the very least delayed by an hour or so!
Whats the point in waiting till the next day to watch it? I'll know the result by than so no matter how good the fight is, it won't have the DRAMA that makes BOXING such a great sport to watch!
I'm actually a BIG FAN of DANNY WILLIAMS, the impression i get of him is that he's a QUIET, MODEST and INTELLIGENT young man .
I really hope he wins and goes on to fight HERBIE HIDE.

nasty, did you see danny williams on the holy-ruiz 3 undercard? he whacked out shaun robinson in 2 rds looked tremendous but i dont know whther they broadcast it in the states.
also, what about when audley harrison scored an awesome 1 punch KO of the same opponent on the gatti-ward 2 undercard. did you see him?
those were the US debuts for them boys.

I've seen about 6/7 Williams fights including his last 2 fights
I've seen every Audrey fight except his victory over MATTHEW ELLIS
The impression I get is that Williams has Great skills and power but is mentally Fu~ked up when it comes to big fights!
As for Audrey, what's with all this Attitude? He's look pretty good but I'm not sure he'll have what it takes when he faces a guy just as big and strong as him. I'd like to see him in against a Jameel McCline or a similiar big top 20 guy next year!

in his 4th pro fight he fought a man over 7 ft tall and nearly 300 pounds named julius long.
he was a pretty terrifying spectacle but his size and power gave audley no problems whatsoever and audley iced him easy in 2 rds.
as for audleys arrogance... my friend if our man danny williams had more of an audley harrison demeanor (ie arrogant, confident and competitive) he'd be a lot further in the game right now believe me.

You'll just have to stay clear of the result nasty, might be a few thrills & spills, you never know..
We have to do the same in the UK, as the Baby Joe bill is on sunday night here - highlights only though, as we're getting the Kelly fight in Columbia same show..
