And unless I am mistaken a cruiserweight who extended the other Dickinson a while back (could be wrong).
Good test in your 5th fight and good to get 6 rounds in, would reserve judgement until the next fight.

Bomber fought Rasani in his 6th fight, and knocked him out in the first.

I was there last night, cracking fight
and it was that close, dickinson got
hit with too many right hands, was wide
open for that shot all night.
What a warrior rasani is.

bellew had rasani beat before the bell rang, maybe dickinson needs to work on his screw face
in all honesty if rasani fancies it, he's dangerous & a pretty decent fighter, i remember him bursting on t

I watched the fight and he was close toa knock down several times, twice his opponent was saved by the bell and on the other occasions, decent head movement from his opponent gave him some recovery time!

In all honesty Hastings is a tough guy and if you let him get into the fight he can become a real handful!! You gotta push him straight on the back foot from the get go!! He's what we call a good on top fighter a bully fighter!! I came out real angry that night and just put it straight on him and to be honest he didn't know where he was after the first right hand exploded on him.. He's a good fighter though and as I said before if you let him attack is a real handful!!
Don't judge Dickinson on this fight as he never had much senior experience in the am's so has to get used to fighting bigger , stronger men than himself..Im sure he'll come good as the kid really can whallop..

Nice one Bomber.
I think Dickinson gets too much stick. I don't think he hardly had a senior fight if any and his pro debut last year might have been his first fight since beating Groves in the Jnr ABA's in about 06 or 07

well said tony, you show great boxing intelligence. spot on about dickinson & the strength issue aswell as rasani who once given abit of respect & time can cause serious problems, a good fighter like yourself can only dispose of these fighters in such a fashion & it seems to lower there stock until others see it as easy.

the good thing about dickinson is that he is 21. so he has plenty of time. still waiting on maloney to upload the scrap to youtube!

I have seen Dickinson a couple of times and havent been overly impressed he looks far to easy to hit but his power bails him out a bit.

that rasani was canny as fcuk kept his head moving the whole time. give anyone without a massive dig a good distance fight.

Rasani is a good test after only 4 fights, the Zimbabwean had recently beaten Billy Boyle and JJ Ojuederie, so shows he can fight when he wants to.
I think because of the early win against Groves in the amateurs, everyone is expecting Dickinson to be able to blast out his opponents, from what i've seen of him, he needs to concentrate on his boxing skills more , and let the bigger punches come from that.
