just an observatin ,the wbc belt looks like its a fake,as they normally have round pictures of Mohamed ali and joe louis to the left and right of the man plate and on the strap.

Prefer the IBF belt but does anyone know if the price is reasonable an if the Autograph is likely to be a fake or not?

Why would people buy replica belts?? very expensive for what they are, better to have the originals with history!!!

The price for one, have you seen how much an original belt that has been won is worth? I have belts that have been made by the same people who make the championship belts. They are identical fully authentic but have not been issued to a boxer.

The belt is authentic, it was donated by the WBC. It is however an interim champions belt (not full size)

I have sent you a PM about belts, regarding a Lonsdale belt you can only get one that has been issued and because of that they come at a premium. In the past you could get one for around 5k but recently they have crept up in value to around 8 - 10k and rarely come up. They also used to be made from solid gold but no longer, nobody makes replicas of them and the maker point blank refuse to sell them to Joe public.

HTH

Full size, looks real nice, bought it as a present 4 years ago but didn't have any history, but I don't reckon getting a fighter to sign it as they come out of a toilet at a dinner adds a grand to the price
