Fury will not take the fight.

Mcdonnell won't either Vs Brook.

I can't see Fury taking it. I don't think he'll beat McDermott. Big John has always had confidence issues. He won’t now, after what happened with their first right. I think he'll beat Fury even more easily than he did last time :o .

weather fury wins or not he aint ever gonna be world class he got beat in first fight with big john. he got overated power and boxing skills but yet thinks he is in position to say he is best fighter out of britain. he a bit of a penis in my opinion. is ther anyone out there that actually likes his style and his attitude???????????

That's why people don't like him. Kinda like Amir Khan. They both claim they are the best in Britain, while running away from the domestic fights. The fact that he lost to McDermott but is still adamant he won doesn't help either.

You can't judge him for "running away" from his domestic opposition when he's yet to do that. Now that it's been mandated, let's see what happens. If he pulls out, then he's fair game for the accompanying criticism, but let's not sentence him before the crime, eh? As it is, fighting for the English title at 20 in your eighth contest hardly smacks of "running away".

Who knows how Tyson could develop. Depends how much time and effort he puts in. lets not forget he's 20/21, and most heavies dont arrive anywhere until mid-late twenties. Plenty of time to develop and learn, he just needed reeling in a little, and thats what the Mcdermott fight has done. The matchmaking was a bit crazy, really.

I also doubt he is as big a twit as he sounds on tv etc. Read a very good interview with him a while back in Boxing Monthly I think? He needs some decent PR and needs to realise he is a long way from the level he thinks he is at.

If he takes the fight and wins then he has to fight Williams or Chisora.

There will be some nice fights in the next 12 months I think.

The Heavyweight scene is not as bad as some first thought!

Hopefully Fury gets knocked out soon.

Chisora fighting Williams - Williams gets stopped.

Fury Vs Chisora?

I think the British Title wil change hands at least twice in the next 12 months!

:OhYes:

if he beats mcdermot ...it dsnt mean he should instantly get a shot at the top

lets see him fight danny hughes, carl baker/ or fergusson

all 3 would beat him

ditto burton....and of course Krence !!!!

its all well and good having a stupid name but fury actually has to fight

Fury is far from the 2nd coming of Ali but all the fighters you mentioned are of inferior quality to McDermott(and by some way), which would mean fighting them should he beat McDermott would be pointless. Whether he can beat McDermott or not, he'd handle any of those fighters quite easily regardless.

Can you blame him though every big fight he's been in (except Skelton) he has a case of winning it but to go 0-3 is a shame especailly the Fury fight that was a joke

Fury should take the fight and do the right thing.
They ripped off McDermott last time and that kid deserves the rematch.

I hope so the first one was a cracking scrap.
I think fury showed great character and determination for such a young novice even though his skills are clearly limited.
Mcdermott wins on points I reckon.
