A win for Tyrone will set up a fight for the light-middle Australian title. LM is Ty's best weight division for mind. He hurt himself trying to get to welter against Kanofski, and against the bigger guys he dosn't have the same stopping power (if you take a close look at his record you see most of his stoppages come at 69kg). If he settles down and makes LM his division he will make waves. I've sparred Ty a couple of times and would have to say he has some seriously explosive power that will unsettle a lot of light-middle's, coupled with constantly improving skills.

I'm a massive fan of Tongia but a bout with Asswin does nothing for me, or him for that matter.

Good card that great if you follow Qld boxing. Omar is stepping up as is Corey McConnel. Great to see Philip Maley on the card hope he gets a fight( not to many wont to fight him) I will be there.

Totally see where you are coming from. I guess it's just a factor of not a great deal of opponents out there and having to stay busy. Hopefully Tongia's next opponent will be a step up for the National Title.

It should be an easy fight for Tongia, Cabuy is as bad in sparring as in the ring,
which is sad for me to say, coz he is a really good bloke,

If anythings gonna pop off early, its Cabuys head, Cabuy is not the type of fighter that lets cannons loose early.......... well he wont do it to Tongia thats for sure......

I seriously doubt you have sparred with Aswin at all. I know who Aswin spars with and you don't spring to mind. Unless I have overlooked you which you can no doubt prove.

the first time i ever sparred him was when the Bohols took him,

Liverpool PCYC, but now Jeff Bohol has a backyard GYM, so they no longer at the PCYC,

Yeah I knew did kick boxing in Indo. He spars all the filo's. I;ve worked his corner a few times and am good friends with Hermie. there's a clue.
