Graham was one of my all time favourites and was a hurtfull puncher when in the mood and looking at his record beat some very decent fighters during his time.

I don't have that one MachoMan, but i do have the Graham v Kaylor fight , i'm trying to transfer to my comp.

I have loads of old Duff Barrett promotion master tapes, but I dont own the rights, so I wont put them up

It would be fairly short sighted and beligerant of organisations like the beeb/ITV and Sky to delete fight footage of this nature - there is no commercial value to it that I can see (it is certainly not made available to fans to purchase in it's entirety or, for the most part, any format.) and is more hosted more as a reference of sporting history rather than some flarant copyright infringement.

Thats my view at least.

Last month you said you were putting your VHS tapes onto DVD, Eric.

Once digitised on DVD, to upload them to Youtube is simple.

I've just stuck Errol Christie v Jose Seys up there, just before the Graham/Seys fight.

What a shocker that was - take a look at the stunned faces on the national photographers there....Christie was the hottest prospect the UK had seen in years, he looked like England's answer to a young Ray Leonard on the way up, then this happened -

Two things this fight brings back: 1) It was a great shot from Seys that first nailed Errol.
2) Christie had a 'nothing' corner.

Christie later stated in an interview that his corner was not strong enough in the Kaylor fight.

Yep, one big life changing left hook to the temple - Bert whatsisname picking the opponents, and Errol way too casual, as a result of all those easy wins. The Belgium banger died a couple of years ago, I think he fell victim to the booze...

Errol looks much the same now as he ever did, a good man.

No arguments, mate, though both men were down and needed 'bullying' through the rough spots. You can bet your life Duff and Tibbs were laying into Kaylor.

Tony Connolly, my twin brother, fought in the same ABAs as Errol, in 1982. Tony was just a bantamweight so he would get his fight over with before the big boys and then sit back in the dressing room and chat with the likes of Errol and Chris Pyatt, great fighters and simply nice guys.
A true story: Tony was tucking into a big bag of Revels after a win in the Midlands finals and spontaneously offered some to the big boys, who were still to fight.

Yep, completely fair point Bennie and I should point out it was light-hearted remark on my part. It's just I'd followed that link and watched the highlights again and couldn't resist the temptation to comment on it.

His last fight. Tony walloped Honeywood with a few big left hooks and it just made Honeywood madder. In the end, they clashed heads and Tony emerged with a swelling on the forehead. The ref immediately stopped it.

In the corner of Christie on the Seyes fight was Don Davies and Harry Burgess(Harry the growler)
