However it was only AFTER his loss to someone like Max Baer or some other apple cart upsetter that he gained the insight to become a practicing Zen Budhist and developed the character to leave the WBU behind and garner the big Trophy's. Unifying the title's once again in Harry Will's precedent setting unification wake.

I tihkn it was Holyfield. He went on a tear towards the end of the season (KO'ing Tyson along the way).

Wasn't that funny how time ran out on that season leaving everyone with the false impression that Tyson somehow was relevant that season? I believe Harry was the #1 challenger on every list that closing week.

What was Tyson's last defense? It wasn't with Bowe or Wills, cuz Wills would have been the mandatory coming up I think.

Tyson beat Holmes to unify all the major belts, defended against one of Marlin's fighters (Ezzard Charles I believe, W KO 1) before taking on Bowe in the final fight of the season. Wills may have been Tyson's mando, but Tyson had already comprehensively beaten Wills on points earlier in the season.

Tyson fought Bowe last fight of the season and rendered him 'Ex Champ Unconscious'!!

But if you wish for a rematch, then it is yours. We'll have it at MSG, not too fussed on trainers/cutmen etc, just so long as it's on the level!!

Kevo you're right, and Wills was on deck, though who knows if he would have held his ground because there was no mandatory.
