I was an amateur boxer in St. Louis, Mo. during 1980-1989 period. I fought at several tournaments. Ohio State Fair 1981-1983 (70lbs). Junior Olympics Nationals 1986-1987 (90-95lbs). 1988 ABF Championship (112lbs), 1988 Golden Gloves National (106 lbs), 1988 Western Trials (106 lbs), plus the regional tournaments to get to the above championships.
