Well done Jono Baguley

Just thought would post a thread to congratulate the hard working Rotherham fighter on a well-deserved win. Underestimate him at your peril - he's hard as nails and can bang a bit.

No disrespect to Vinny Mitchell at all and I wish him well for the future but delighted to see this very honest and capable 'opponent' getting a great result that should keep him getting good fights. Anyone that beats him has got to be pretty decent!

Shows you that Liam Walsh stopping him was a very good resut for Walsh. I wonder if he just took Razak lightly last night coz he looked good against Jono but very ordinary last night

Me too ian. Got a very tough job done early. Yeah, he loaded up, but because he knew he could and he wanted Sid out early.

On a slightly different note, it does say a lot about the generally uncompetative nature of the sport (especially undercards) that when a "home" fighter is beaten, it's a notable event!!

Baguley had a cold when he boxed Walsh, he was not hurt. That's the only time he's been stopped.

I doubt it will.Anyone who has watched Vinny knew it was just a matter of time before someone beat him. Also, the really good kids beat Baguley, and they can now say something along the lines of "he's a dangerman who snapped the unbeaten record of Kevin Mitchell's brother".Works out well all round, really.
