I think its a good matchup, Taylor is towards the end of his career. But he still has the power to hurt Woods and also has the ability to fight rough if need be.

Maybe. But probably not. He looked like he was right at the end of a long hard career against Les Sherrington.

To me it's a bit sad to watch Shannon go through the motions, gloves up round his head, getting knocked this way and that, 25 pounds over his best fighting weight. But that's the fight game and no one is making him do it.

I remember him on those Bill Mordey shows 15 years ago against the likes of Swift, Wise, Bramble & Rodriguez. I miss Mordey; he seemed to be the last Aussie promoter with a vision for his guys. Maybe I am just getting old.

If Taylor wasnt training Graham Shaw I would of said Wood by late KO!! but he will improve a little under grange!

I reckon Wood by UD with about 30 warnings to both from Ref and about 3 or 4 cut inspections by the Doc!! Messy/Ugly fight!

If Taylor loses it will be his last fight if Wood loses we'll never see him again...

I know what your saying in regards to his early career, I recently got hold of a 9 disk set of the Blaster. Showing all of his early fights right up until now. He was awesome at 147 and is very unlucky to have not got a World Title.
